Exploring the unknown, Studio Finna’s founders in a residency in FCINY residency, New York.

 

“Designer duo Hanna-Kaarina Heikkilä and Anni Pitkäjärvi have been working together under the name Studio Finna since 2014. Their repertoire ranges from product and furniture design to projects relating to interior and architecture. The duo will spend November–December 2019 in residency in New York to gather inspiration for a new collection. “

FCINY offers residencies for Finnish designers, architects and artists through its independent residency program. Additionally, FCINY coordinates residencies for visual artists with established residency organizations in New York. Artist residencies at ISCP (International Studio and Curatorial Program) are made possible by Alfred Kordelin Foundation and by Saastamoinen Foundation for alumni of the Fine Arts Academy of Finland.
